Usage Note 45440: A "two values above are invalid for correlated variables.." warning appears when you run PROC FASTCLUS
When you run PROC FASTCLUS, the following warning might appear in the output:
WARNING: The two values above are invalid for correlated variables.
The warning is displayed automatically when two or more analysis variables are used in PROC FASTCLUS. However, the procedure does not perform a check for correlated data, and the warning does not imply that any variables are correlated.
The warning is displayed for information about the validity of using the Approximate Expected Over-All R-Squared, and the Cubic Clustering Criterion (CCC) when variables are correlated. For statistical details, refer to SAS Technical Report A-108 Cubic Clustering Criterion.
Beginning in SAS/STAT® software 9.22, you can turn off this warning. To turn off the warning, specify the VARIABLESAREUNCORRELATED option in the PROC FASTCLUS statement. This option does not appear in documentation for 9.22 or for 9.3.
