Usage Note 45350: Running SAS® Merchandise Data Integration on SAS9.2 and Win2003 R2 Server, fact loads fail and receive “mp connect did not work” error messages

® Merchandise Data Integration, loads can fail and you will receive the following connection error messages when running SAS9.2 on Win2003 R2 Server.

To fix this issue, please set the following environment variable to zero, and restart the server:
TCP_EPH_MAP_ENABLED=0
You may have to add this variable to your environment variable list. To do this, or to edit your current value, follow these steps:
- In Windows Explorer, right click on "My Computer"
- Choose "Properties"
- Select the "Advanced" Tab
- Select the "Environment Variables" button
- Under the "System Variables" section, choose the "New" button
- For the "Variable name" box put in TCP_EPH_MAP_ENABLED
- For the "Variable value" box put in 0
