Problem Note 45327: When exporting loss data from SAS® Enterprise GRC to SAS® OpRisk VaR, if there is no recovery amount, a recovery date is incorrectly assigned
When you export loss data from SAS Enterprise GRC to SAS OpRisk VaR using the orm_export_to_var macro, if the loss data does not contain a recovery amount, then a recovery date is incorrectly assigned. For a loss, the recovery date should not have a value if there is no recovery amount.
Warning messages appear in your SAS program output log when you load the data into SAS OpRisk VaR. For example, a warning message like this is displayed:
STATUS WARNING: Obs 0000003 - The value column (Insurance_Recovery_2) has a
missing value, but the date column (Insurance_Recovery_Date_2) has the value
(December 31, 2004).
There is no workaround to the problem.
