Problem Note 45266: Visual totals might be incorrect when single member on slicer and two hierarchies from the same dimension are on different axes
When a SAS® OLAP cube has multiple hierarchies defined for a dimension, referencing more than one of the hierarchies in that dimension in your OLAP query might return incorrect visual totals.
Specifically, if one of the hierarchies is on the slicer and another hierarchy from the same dimension is on one of the axes, then filtering on a single member on the slicer might return incorrect visual totals. If you are displaying parent totals, then the correct values should be returned.
Visual totals are correct in the following circumstances:
- You filter on more than one member on the slicer, while still having hierarchies from the same dimension on the slicer and another axis.
- You filter on a single member value on an axis instead of the slicer, with another hierarchy from the same dimension on the slicer.
