Problem Note 45242: PROC FCMP returns an error with the SCAN function when the fourth argument is used
When using the 4th argument of the SCAN function inside PROC FCMP, an ERROR is returned. The 4th argument is not allowed for the SCAN function when used inside PROC FCMP in SAS 9.2. The ERROR message received when trying to use the 4th argument with the SCAN function inside PROC FCMP is the following:
ERROR: The function SCAN takes a maximum of 3 arguments. There are too many arguments
for the function SCAN.
The problem has been corrected in SAS 9.3TS1M0.
