Problem Note 45091: Markdown plan cannot be created because allowed_markdn_periods is wrong length
When you import markdown plans into SAS® Markdown Optimization or SAS® High Performance Markdown Optimization, you might see the following error even though your input file does not have any values in the ALLOWED_MARKDN_PERIODS field.
Plan cannot be created or updated because the number of values in allowed_markdn_periods does not equal plan duration in weeks
When your input file does not contain values for ALLOWED_MARKDN_PERIODS, the value is generated using the data in the ALLOWED_PRICE_CHG_DATE table. The error occurs when the last allowed markdown date from the ALLOWED_PRICE_CHG_DATE table is after the start of the last week of the plan but before the plan end date.
The work-around for this issue is to have all of the values for the ALLOWED_DATE in the ALLOWED_PRICE_CHG_DATE table be the first day of a fiscal week. If your fiscal week runs from Sunday to Saturday, then the values for the ALLOWED_DATE should be Sundays.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
