Problem Note 44942: SAS® Clinical Data Integration 2.3 - Registration of Medidata Rave® transformations in Shift-JIS encoding results in an errors
Registration of Medidata Rave® transformations in SAS® Clinical Data Integration 2.3 for Shift-JIS encoded installs of the SAS System results in an error.
The following steps result in an error in this environment:
1. Define Medidata Rave Server
2. Enable a SAS Clinical Data Integration user to log on to Medidata Rave URL (this produces an error for Shift-JIS encoded environments).
As a workaround, using the SAS Local Setup Manager change the encoding of SAS Data Integration Studio to a western language encoding that does not use extended characters.
