Problem Note 44714: Large utility file might unnecessarily be generated by SAS® OLAP Server

During query time of an OLAP cube, a large utility file might be generated in your utility or WORK location even though there is still available memory to process the query and there is no need to create a disked page file.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
Once the fix is available, this additional utility file will be generated only when there is no longer real memory available to utilize. At that time, a write to disk will create the temporary page file.
