Problem Note 44661: Saving a new incident prompts you for a change reason
When creating a new incident in the SAS® Enterprise GRC Web application, you are incorrectly asked for a change reason when saving the new incident.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After applying the hot fix, you need to make two configuration changes.
Add a new parameter to file "configdata.properties".
monitor.incident.skip.accept.changeReason.required = false
Update a parameter in metadata using SAS® Management Console.
- Log on to SAS Management Console.
- Expand Application Management.
- Expand Configuration Manager.
- Right-click OpRisk Monitor MidTier 4.2 Properties, select Options.
- Select the Settings tab.
Select Incident Management. For the drop down "When creating an incident,
skip the Accept step and go directly to the Investigate step", select Yes.
Save the changes.
Note: you might need to restart the Web application for these configuration
changes to take effect.
