SAS® Promotion Optimization should use day of week sales mix index values. These values should be extracted from the SALES_MIX_DAY_OF_WEEK table based on the SALES_DOW_GEO_LVL and SALES_DOW_PROD_LVL global settings. Currently, the solution uses a rate of 1/7 for each day of the week, which causes the KPIs to not be as precise as they should be.
There is no workaround for this issue.
