Problem Note 44411: SAS® Customer Intelligence scheduled campaigns might fail to execute when they cannot obtain a lock for the MAMISC.SEQUENCE table
The following error message might occur in the SASMarketingAutomationCore5.4.log when a scheduled campaign is executed:
ERROR: A lock is not available for MAMISC.SEQUENCE.DATA.
This error might also be accompanied by the failure of a scheduled campaign with an Exit Code 30.
The problem happens only when running a large number of concurrent SAS sessions, each of which must make multiple calls to get a sequence number. When this error occurs, re-run the failed campaign.
