Problem Note 44387: Priority of competitive price rule too high
In SAS® Regular Price Optimization, the priority of the competitive price rule is too high. This can result in situations where the competitive price rule has a priority too close to the item relationship rule.
SAS® Regular Price Optimization has the following hard and soft pricing rules:
Hard Rules
- Price grid and ending rules
- Same price rule
- Minimum price change rule
- Pre-priced product rule
Soft Rules (in decreasing priority, most important first)
- Absolute minimum margin rule
- Item relationship rule
- Competitive price rule
- Average weighted price change rule
- Margin rule
- Maximum price change rule
- Target
