Problem Note 44334: SAS® Financial Management operational form set publish might not complete on WebSphere
Publishing a SAS Financial Management operational form set might not complete in a WebSphere environment. In SAS Financial Management Studio's Forms workspace, you are able to select 'Publish' and you receive the expected prompts.
However, the form set status might return to draft and the form set is not published.
This is often corrected by making the following changes in the WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console:
- Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > SASServer3 > Configuration tab > Container Settings > Container Services > ORB service
- Set 'Request timeout' to 28800 seconds
- Set 'Locate request timeout' to 28800 seconds
- Select 'Apply'
- Repeat the above steps for SASServer4
- Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > SASServer3 > Configuration tab > Container Settings > Container Services > Transaction Service
- Set 'Total transaction lifetime timeout' to 28800 seconds
- Set 'Maximum transaction timeout' to 28800 seconds
- Repeat the above steps for SASServer4
