Problem Note 44303: An update of the SAS Common Data Model might return the error "Error terminating Greenplum load" when you publish or execute a campaign
SAS® Customer Intelligence products might write the following error in the SAS® Marketing Automation core and SAS® Stored Process Server logs when a campaign is executed or published:
ERROR: Error terminating Greenplum load: [SAS ACCESS to Greenplum][ODBC Greenplum Wire Protocol driver]
[Greenplum]NOTICE: External scan from gpfdist client will utilize xx out of yy
When this error occurs, SAS Customer Intelligence also fails to update the Contact History, Response History, or Treatment History information that is stored in the SAS Common Data Model. The problem occurs under these conditions:
- The Common Data Model is stored in the Greenplum database, and
- The data that is uploaded has a string that contains an unmatched single or double quotation mark.
For example, a user-defined field containing
'Text in "this" field'
is successfully published. However,
'Text in "this field'
is not successfully published.
