In SAS® Pack Optimization, purchase order plans with model members and less than all sizes specified to order will not optimize.
The problem occurs if you follow this sequence of steps in th UI:
- Create a model member that has 6 sizes.
- Create a purchase order plan.
- On the delivery request settings, select a size set of 3 sizes.
- On the delivery pack settings, check "Allow the system to recommend packs" and include a bulk of size 1.
This plan will fail to optimize.
