Running optimization on SAS®: High-Performance Optimization, can fail if Post-plan markdowns
are enabled for plans being optimized. This is due to the improper allocation of memory for each
MDO_PROD_GEO object.

Th error manifests itself in the HiPerfMerchIntelGridSvr.log as:
ERROR: TKTException code = 10 (Domain exception)
The workaround is to uncheck Post-plan markdowns for each plan.
