In SAS® Promotion Optimization, the weekly Sales Forecast Export numbers might not match the numbers reported for a plan in the user interface. The discrepancy exists because the UI uses daily forecasts and the Sales Forecast Export uses weekly forecasts.
There is no workaround for this issue.
Once fixed, the Sales Forecast Export will have the ability to use daily forecasts. A new parameter called etlp_daily_model will be added to request daily forecasts. Etlp_daily_model=1 will request a daily forecast; etlp_daily_model=0 will request a weekly forecast. Note that if this parameter is not specified then the default value is 1.
