Problem Note 44075: Oracle maintenance fails

While performing weekly maintenance of the Oracle database for SAS® High-Performance Markdown Optimization you might see the following error:

ERROR: ORACLE execute error: ORA-10638: Index status is invalid

Further investigation by your Oracle DBA might show the problem is with the PROD_DC_INV_AGG index on the primary key column PROD_HIER_SK. When the DBA attempts to rebuild the index, you might see the following error:

ORA-01452: cannot CREATE UNIQUE INDEX; duplicate keys found

This error occurs when all of the geo-prods in a partition have been reclassified to other partitions.
