Problem Note 44912: The Ratemaking node gives a run-time error on an imported diagram
The Ratemaking node in SAS Enterprise Miner might fail with a run-time error.
Error: Run time error was encountered. Please see the log for more details.
The problem occurs if all of the following are true.
- The diagram was imported from a previous release.
- The diagram contains a Ratemaking node.
- The node Model Type is set to DEFAULT.
A note is also created in the node log of the node Results:
NOTE: The Ratemaking Node no longer supports a Default Model Type. Please
change the Model Type option to an appropriate model type.
The problem occurs because there was a DEFAULT option for Model Type in the Ratemaking Model Type panel for SAS Enterprise Miner 7.1. However, this option no longer exists for SAS Enterprise Miner 7.1 M1.
If you select a different option for Model Type on the existing Ratemaking node and re-run the Ratemaking node, a run-time error occurs. The log in the node Results shows an error.
ERROR: Variable NAME not found.
To work around this problem, delete the existing Ratemaking node. Create a new Ratemaking node using one of the options available in the Model Type property.
