Usage Note 44910: The "Register Tables" selection is not available on the menu in the SAS® Management Console Data Library Manager
The Register Tables wizard within SAS Management Console guides you through the process of importing and registering tables in the SAS® Metadata Repository. A unique library template is used for each supported database.
The Register Tables wizard is not available for UNIX operating systems. The following display shows the menu items that appear when you select an item in the Data Library Manager under a UNIX operating environment. The selection Register Tables is missing from the menu because the wizard is not available.
To access the Register Tables wizard, launch SAS Management Console in a Windows environment. The following display shows the menu as it appears when you run SAS Management Console in a Windows environment. In this case, the menu contains the Register Tables menu item.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue. The fix is valid only for the listed Linux systems. Other versions of UNIX do not support the Register Tables wizard.
