Usage Note 44899: Unable to query AS400 tables in the ODBC library
An Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) LIBNAME statement is successfully assigned, using the following syntax, but an error occurs when a table is queried:
LIBNAME AS400 ODBC COMPLETE = "DRIVER={iSeries Access ODBC Driver};
UID=******; PWD=******;SYSTEM=DatabaseName; NAM=1;" SCHEMA=SCHEMA;
ERROR: CLI prepare error: [IBM][iSeries Access ODBC Driver][DB2
UDB]SQL5016 - Qualified object name TABLENAME not valid.
To correct this behavior, remove the NAM parameter from the LIBNAME statement:
LIBNAME AS400 ODBC COMPLETE = "DRIVER={iSeries Access ODBC Driver};
UID=******; PWD=******;SYSTEM=DatabaseName" SCHEMA=SCHEMA;
