Problem Note 44832: Shared prompts that are populated by an information map might not work correctly in SAS® Enterprise Guide® or the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office
When opening reports or stored processes in SAS Enterprise Guide and the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, shared prompts that are populated by an information map do not contain values. Specifically, the prompt appears but there are no values in the list as shown in the following display.
The prompts work correctly when the report or stored process is opened in SAS Web Report Studio.
There are two workarounds:
- You can unshare the prompt.
- You can populate the prompt using a table instead of an information map.
If you directly open an information map that uses a shared prompt that is populated by an information map, then the prompt does work correctly.
