Problem Note 44814: The SAS® Migration Utility (SMU) fails with an error stating that the SAS® Metadata Server is down or could not be contacted

If the user that you identify as your unrestricted administrative user in the SAS® Metadata Server is also included in the MetadataServer/trustedUsers.txt file as a trusted SAS user, then the SAS® Migration Utility fails with the following messages:
[INFO ] SMU SAS Migration Utility version 9.3-3.2 Connection to metadata server was not made due to the following error: com.sas.apps.migration.smu.FrameworkException:User sasadm@saspw is not an unrestricted metadata user. .
[ERROR ] SMU The migration utility had an error:
[ERROR ] SMU The metadata server is down, or could not be contacted with the provided information.
Check the host, port, user and password provided and the server state.
To circumvent the problem, remove the unrestricted user's userid from the trustedUsers.txt file, restart all SAS server processes, and run the SAS Migration Utility again.
