Problem Note 44559: The option, Enable Project Recovery, causes a memory leak in SAS® Enterprise Guide®
In Tools ► Options ► Project Recovery, the option Enable Project Recovery is selected by default and is used to help recover a project if there is an abnormal termination of SAS Enterprise Guide.
This option causes a memory leak. In addition, an out-of-memory error can occur if the project remains open for an extended period of time, or if the Save Interval option is set lower than 30 minutes.
To circumvent the problem, do not leave a project open and inactive overnight. Also, keep the Save Interval at the default of 30 minutes.
