Problem Note 44457: "ERROR: A character operand was found in the %EVAL function or %IF condition where a numeric operand is required..." might be encountered
An error might be encountered in SAS® Size Profiling in "Generate Store Group" or "Generate Profiles" steps. An error message similar to the following can be found in the log:
ERROR: A character operand was found in the %EVAL function or %IF condition where a numeric operand is required. The condition was:
126319417 + 1.0004E8.
This error occurs when you have a very large profiling project and the number of observations is stored in exponential notation.
To work around this issue, reduce the scope of the profiling project.
