When using SAS^® High-Performance Markdown Optimization, the following errors might be displayed in HiPerfMIInterIGridSvc.txt during a batch optimization run:

ERROR - Exception thrown during the invocation of method etlEnd
java.lang.RuntimeException: Request online_opt[000616] is queued and can't run (1). 

or

ERROR - java.lang.RuntimeException: error (RC=1) executing TKMI command on
captain XXXhost.domain_name.com: run=online_opt;mdo_plan_sk=000616;context_sk=000616;
scope_sk=278555;scope_assoc_cd=1;

These errors occur because the failed/paused online optimization that previously ran was not removed from the queue.

Use the following steps as a workaround for this issue:

1. Remove queued online optimization requests from the PROCESS_STATUS table;
2. Restart the grid server;
3. If the online optimization is needed, it will need to be resubmitted;

A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
