Problem Note 44397: Approval of regular price plan fails when using Active Directory/LDAP
When using SAS
® Regular Price Optimization, the approval of a regular price will fail when Active Directory (AD) or LDAP is used. In addition, the approval will fail if a user ID is created (such as Neil Peart), with that user being granted permissions to create and approve a Regular Price Plan.
The error is generated in the log:
com.sas.services.connection.LoginException: The user "Neil Peart" could not log on to the server "MIMain - Logical Workspace Server".
The reason this failure occurs is due to the using wrong user session being used when connecting to workspace server. It should be the
mid-tier user rather than the
logged-in user.
