Installation Note 44340: Installing Oracle WebLogic in 64-bit Windows operating environments
When you install WebLogic in 64-bit Windows environments, you need to ensure that you are using a 64-bit Java Development Kit (JDK). Otherwise, the SAS configuration fails. The best way to ensure that you have the 64-bit JDK is to submit a command similar to the following that uses an explicit path to the 64-bit Java location:
"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24\bin\java" -jar wls1034_generic.jar
In UNIX environments, the command contains a -d64 option. This option is not supported under Windows. Also, be aware that -D64 (note the capital D) is not valid in any operating environment.
