Problem Note 44220: The contents of all open files are not saved when the SAS® Universal Viewer workspace is saved
The SAS Universal Viewer user's guide inaccurately describes what occurs when you save a workspace. The documentation states the following:
"When you save a workspace, the files that are open are saved. By default,
whenever you exit SAS Universal Viewer, the Viewer saves the last workspace that
you used."
The contents of files are not saved when the SAS Universal Viewer's workspace is saved. To save file contents, you have to select the File .. Save menu option in SAS Universal Viewer.
By default, whenever you exit SAS Universal Viewer, only the last workspace that you used is saved. The list of open files, their arrangement within the
application, and other session data are saved.

The SAS Universal Viewer documentation inaccurately states that all open files are saved when you save a workspace.
