Usage Note 44146: Connection failed errors when reading Microsoft Access files using the SAS PC Files Server
When you are importing Microsoft Access files using the SAS PC Files Server, the following error might occur:
ERROR: CLI open cursor error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]
ODBC--connection to 'tablename' failed.
ERROR: Import unsuccessful. See SAS Log for details.
The issue can occur even if you are able to import other Microsoft Access files and tables. The problem occurs because the Microsoft Access file that is being read has links to other files or tables that do not exist.
To resolve the problem, change the links in the Microsoft Access file itself or obtain the missing files that the table requires.
