Problem Note 44118: Creating a diamond shape job flow in Schedule Manager produces a circular dependency error
When you schedule a diamond flow, you might see the following error:
Error Message:
Scheduling of "<Name_of_flow>" failed ('Logical error: circular
dependency detected with "<Name_of_job>" in "<Name_of_flow>" flow.
The traceback is:
<Name_of_Job>
-><Name_Of_Job>
-><Name_of_Job>).
A diamond shape flow is where two or more jobs share a common predecessor and a common successor causes it to think the common predecessor is a circular dependency. This error message causes the inability to schedule valid flows. This problem occurs before sending the job to the scheduler.
