Problem Note 44036: Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) functionality cannot import certificates to a local computer
SSL certificates can be imported only to the personal user's location. If the certificate is imported to the local computer's location, signon attempts to the server fail.
For example: When importing certificates, one would typically import by going to Current User ► Personal ► Certificates. The desired path, however, is Local Computer ► Personal ► Certificates, so that the certificate can be located in a central location for all users.
The following error might be seen in the client log:
ERROR: A communication subsystem partner link setup request failure has occurred.
ERROR: Cannot start remote process.
In the server log, the following error occurs:
ERROR: A communication subsystem environment initialization request failure has occurred.
ERROR: Network request failed (rc 0x01EBCF40) - SSL Error: Certificate was not found.
