When you select the JSR168 Remote Portlet 4.3 application in the SAS Web Administration Console and you then select a different SAS Web application, you are logged off from the console. When that happens, a logon dialog box appears for the application that you have most recently selected.

For example, logging off occurs when you follow steps similar to the following:

1. Log on to the SAS Web Administration Console.
2. Expand Application Management.
3. Select a SAS Web application such as BI Dashboard 4.3.
4. Then select JSR168 Remote Portlet 4.3.
5. Reselect BI Dashboard 4.3.

At this point, you are logged off of the console, and a logon dialog box appears for the most recent application that you had selected. However, if you attempt to enter a user ID and password again, the logon fails.

To correct the problem, log off from SAS Web Administration Console. Then open a new browser window and invoke the SAS Web Admininistration Console again.

To avoid this problem, do not select the JSR168 Remote Portlet 4.3 application.
