If you are using an attribute hierarchy for both products and geographies in SAS^® High-Performance Markdown Optimization, SAS^® Promotion Optimization or SAS^® Regular Price Optimization, you might notice that the geography attribute hierarchy does not match the geography standard hierarchy. New stores added to the geography standard hierarchy might not be added to the geography attribute hierarchy.

The %di_hier_attr_job uses the last update date of the attribute hierarchy to extract the changes from the standard hierarchy. After the product attribute hierarchy is updated, the last update date is incorrectly set to the time of the product attribute hierarchy update. The wrong date is then used when extracting geography changes from the geography standard hierarchy, and no records are extracted.

There is no work-around for this issue.
