After an update to the analysis options or to the data selection default settings in the SAS Warranty Analysis Administration Workspace, the entire cache is rebuilt. Rebuilding the entire cache might use a significant amount of computing resources. The result might be an hourglass being displayed for an extended period of time, which indicates the user interface is busy. Another possible result is sluggish system performance after the hourglass no longer displays, as the cache rebuilding process might not yet be complete.
