Problem Note 43876: Tick marks and labels are not displayed properly when there are many values on the graph axis

When there are many values on a graph axis, the tick marks and labels are not displayed properly on the graph. The problem is that when only a subset of the values can be displayed, the code incorrectly shows no tick marks or labels at all.
