Problem Note 43797: PDB migration fails in the z/OS environment when traditional z/OS files are used for the data mart location in the macro %RMPDB2DM
The %RMPDB2DM SAS macro is part of the SAS® IT Resource Management 3.2 software. It creates a new IT data mart from a SAS IT Resource Management 2.7 performance data warehouse (PDB).
Attempting to use the %RMPDB2DM SAS macro with the DEFAULTROOTPATH= value pointing to a traditional z/OS file system location causes the following error message:
ERROR: Physical file does not exist,
/u/userid/high-level-qualifier.datamart.root.prefix
In the above, /u/userid is the home directory for the user invoking the %RMPDB2DM SAS macro, and high-level-qualifier.datamart.root.prefix is the value specified in the DEFAULTROOTPATH= parameter for the traditional z/OS file system location.
To circumvent this error, specify a directory path to a UNIX file system (zFS or HFS) instead of a traditional z/OS file prefix.
