Problem Note 43619: SSL certificates that contain wildcards are not supported with the FILENAME URL access method when accessing a secure web site (HTTPS)
The use of wildcards in SSL certificates is not supported by the FILENAME URL access method when accessing a secure web site (HTTPS). The use of wildcards in the SSL certificate will result in an error.
For example, using a wildcard as part of the hostname will result in the following error:
ERROR: SSL Error: Invalid subject name in partner's certificate.
Subject name must match machine name.
