Problem Note 43380: The reason for cannibalization or halo effects in SAS® Promotion Optimization is difficult to determine

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Promotion Optimization, it might be difficult to determine why there are cannibalization or halo effects flagged for a promotion. The message displayed should indicate which metric is being compared to measure the effect. The differences between the deltas of the objective metrics and the product summary metrics should also be highlighted so the reason for the effect is obvious.

In some circumstances, it might look like equal numbers are displayed but a difference between the effects are indicated. This might happen when the decimal positions beyond what are displayed in the UI are used for calcuations.

There is no workaround for this issue.
