Problem Note 43367: SAS® Enterprise Guide® does not consistently show the contents of desktop shortcuts in the File Open or Export dialog boxes

If you navigate to your Windows desktop during a File ► Open or File ► Export step in SAS Enterprise Guide, shortcuts to network resources that should be present might be missing.
To work around this problem, try clicking the Refresh icon at the top of the dialog box. Sometimes this works to display the resources. Note: You might have to click the icon several times to bring up the missing links.
The dialog box for specifying a file location was written specifically for SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 and later to support metadata folders. This is not the standard dialog box that is shared by most Windows applications. Currently, this dialog box does not support desktop shortcuts.
