Problem Note 43275: A CLI error occurs when you access DB2 via SAS/ACCESS® 9.2 Interface to ODBC and PROC SQL implicit pass-through processing

The following error might be generated when you access a DB2 table with SAS/ACCESS 9.2 to ODBC:
ERROR: CLI prepare error: [IBM][iSeries Access ODBC-Treiber][DB2 UDB]SQL0104 -
Token { invalid. valid Token: ( + - ? : DAY NOT RRN CASE CAST CHAR DATE DAYS
HASH HOUR LEFT.This error occurs when you use SQL procedure's implicit pass-through processing and you subset using a very long WHERE condition. In SAS 9.2, the WHERE clause is truncated between creation and the time it is submitted to the ODBC call.
The same code works perfectly in SAS® 9.13.
The workaround is to use PROC SQL explicit pass-through processing.
A fix for this problem is planned for a later release.
