The latest versions of these software solutions use the SAS SETINIT licensing mechanism. The software does not function without the applicable SAS SETINIT file.
SAS® Content Categorization Studio: When you migrate your system to the SAS SETINIT version of the software, you must remove the Teragram license key by going into the SAS Content Categorization Studio installation directory and deleting the files tk240key.txt, tk240key1.txt, and tk240key2.txt (not all of these files exist on every machine). After you remove the Teragram license key, you are prompted to enter the path to the SAS Content Categorization SETINIT file when you run SAS Content Categorization Studio. After you enter this path, the application remembers the location of the SETINIT file and does not prompt you for it again.
If you are installing the system for the first time, you are prompted to enter the path to the SAS Content Categorization SETINIT file when you run SAS Content Categorization Studio. After you enter this path, the application remembers the location of the SETINIT file and does not prompt you for it again.
SAS® Content Categorization Server or SAS® Enterprise Content Categorization Server: Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, your system administrator must modify the server configuration file to edit the line setinit=cntcatsvr.sas so that it references the location of the SAS Content Categorization SETINIT file. You may also define an environment variable named TG_SETINIT, which specifies the SETINIT file path.
SAS® Content Categorization Collaborative server: Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, run the _tk240 command-line program either by specifying the SAS Content Categorization SETINIT file path using the –setinit command line option or by defining an environment variable named TG_SETINIT, which specifies the SETINIT file path.
SAS® Content Categorization Information Workbench: Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, you are prompted to enter the path to the SAS Content Categorization SETINIT file when you run the Information Workbench. After you enter this path, the application remembers the location of the SETINIT file and does not prompt you for it again.
SAS® Text Summarizer Studio: Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, you are prompted to enter the path to the SAS Content Categorization SETINIT file when you run SAS Text Summarizer Studio. After you enter this path, the application remembers the location of the SETINIT file and does not prompt you for it again.
SAS® Text Summarizer Server: Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, your system administrator must modify the server configuration file to edit the line setinit=cntcatsvr.sas so that it references the location of the SAS Content Categorization SETINIT file.
SAS® Ontology Management Studio: (Use whether migrating from a previous version or installing the software for the first time) When you use the connect to DB command in SAS Ontology Management Studio, you are prompted to enter the path to the SAS Ontology Management SETINIT file. After you enter this path, the application remembers the location of the SETINIT file and does not prompt you for it again until it expires.
SAS® Ontology Management Server: Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, your system administrator must modify the server configuration file to edit the line
SAS Ontology Management Setup: (Run on the server) Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, run the _tstmgr command-line program either by specifying the SAS Ontology Management SETINIT file path using the –setinit command line option or by defining an environment variable named TG_SETINIT, which specifies the SETINIT file path.
SAS® Sentiment Analysis Studio: Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, you are prompted to enter the path to the SAS Sentiment Analysis SETINIT file when you run SAS Sentiment Analysis Studio. After you enter this path, the application remembers the location of the SETINIT file and does not prompt you for it again.
SAS® Sentiment Analysis Server: (On the server) Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, your system administrator must modify the server configuration file to edit the line setinit=sentansr.sas so that it references the location of the SAS Sentiment Analysis SETINIT file.
SAS® Concept Creation for SAS Text Miner: This add-on to SAS Text Miner requires a SAS Text Miner SETINIT file. Whether you are migrating your system from a previous version or are installing the software for the first time, you are prompted to enter the path to the SAS Text Miner SETINIT file when you run SAS Concept Creation for SAS Text Miner. After you enter this path, the application remembers the location of the SETINIT file and does not prompt you for it again.
