Problem Note 43671: A memory leak may occur in SAS® Integration Technologies server processes.
A memory leak will occur in SAS® Integration Technologies server processes when data sets are created, deleted, or renamed. The leak will also occur for library actions such as the assignment of new data libraries. The leak is caused by events created for these actions that are never consumed. Each event message is approximately 108 bytes. The total amount of memory leaked is affected by the number of event listeners that are set up by a client application in addition to the number of data and library actions that occur. The memory will not be released until the SAS Integration Technologies server process is shut down.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Unconsumed events for creating, deleting, and renaming data sets as well as library events such as assigning a new library will cause memory to be leaked and not released until the process has ended.
