Installation Note 43610: The disk space requirement for SAS® Deployment Wizard might not be accurate for the SAS® 9.3 Foundation installation under Microsoft Windows

The amount of required disk space indicated on the Checking System window of the SAS Deployment Wizard might not always be accurate on the Windows operating system for the SAS 9.3 Foundation products.
For example, the SAS Deployment Wizard might display "Required Disk Space: 6.93 GB." However, after you perform the installation, if you start Windows Explorer and look at how much disk space was consumed, the number might actually be 8.54 GB.
This discrepancy can occur if multiple languages are installed on the system. The problem occurs because help is being built for each language individually. As help is translated for more languages, the disk space requirement deficit grows by approximately 364 MB for each language.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
