Problem Note 43546: Calculations performed on calculated measures that are exported from SAS® Web Report Studio might be incorrect in Microsoft Excel
When exporting a report from SAS Web Report Studio to Microsoft Excel, calculated measures created in SAS Web Report Studio might display incorrect results. Specifically, if the calculated measure uses the option Convert number to a percentage(%), then the value will display correctly in Microsoft Excel, but any calculations done on this column (such as SUM) will be incorrect.
To circumvent the problem, if your data is relational, select both of the following options in the Define a Format dialog box.
- Thousands separator(,)
- Convert number to a percentage (%)
When both of these options are selected, calculations done on the measure value should be correct in Microsoft Excel.
