Problem Note 43418: SAS® Workspace Servers might not launch when you use the SAS® grid load-balancing algorithm to make the server connections

If you attempt to connect to SAS Workspace Servers using the SAS grid load–balancing algorithm, the servers might not launch. This problem can occur when the hosts are closed or when they do not have the capacity to run any other jobs.
To circumvent this problem, you can use the IGNOREFULL=value option that has been added to SAS® 9.2 (TS2M3). When IGNOREFULL is set to a non–zero value, the status that a host is closed because it does not have the capacity to run any more jobs is ignored. If the administrator closes the host and this option is set, it still reports that the host is closed.
Specify this option in either of the following ways:
- Specify the option in the Additional Options list that is in the metadata definition for the SAS Logical Grid Server.
- Specify the option in the JOBOPTS= argument of the GRDSVC_ENABLE function, as shown in this example:
