Problem Note 43396: The SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office might add duplicate records to Microsoft Excel files when you open DBMS tables
When opening DBMS tables into Microsoft Excel with the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, you can set the Number of records to display option. If you set this option to a value of 12,756 or higher, then the Add-In will return duplicate records into the spreadsheet by repeating the last record in the table. The Add-In will return the correct number of records to the Excel file if the option is set to a value lower than 12,756.
Also, if the Number of records to display option is set to All, then the SAS Add-In might stop responding without returning an error.
The current workaround is to set the "UseNoDelRecShortcut" config file option to "false" in the
SAS.OfficeAddin.dll.config file. For example:
<configuration>
<assemblySettings>
<add key="UseNoDelRecShortcut" value="false"/>
</assemblySettings>
</configuration>
