Problem Note 43237: The SAS® Deployment Wizard fails during upgrade of the Oracle WebLogic environment with Integrated Windows Authentication configured
If you configure SAS® Web applications and WebLogic for Integrated Windows Authentication, attempts to perform an upgrade with the SAS Deployment Wizard might fail. The configuration log might contain messages similar to the following:
Checking for http://server:7501/console
Result code for http://server:7501/console was 401
As a workaround, follow these steps:
- Use the WebLogic administration console to temporarily remove the Negotiate Identity Asserter as an authentication provider from the WebLogic security realm. Then re-order the providers so that the Default Authenticator is first.
- Then select Retry in the SAS Deployment Wizard. The wizard should proceed without error then.
- After the configuration is complete, rconfigure the WebLogic security providers to their original state.
