Usage Note 43120: Non-ASCII characters are removed from the output when using the DQSTANDARDIZE function
Non-ASCII characters are removed from the output when using the SAS® Data Quality Server function DQSTANDARDIZE in SAS® 9.2 TS2M3.
The following code example illustrates this problem:
data _null_;
name = "Dziekanów Leśny";
a=dqstandardize(name,'stnd_dedup_letter','PLPOL');
put a;
run;
