Problem Note 42589: Prompts do not display in Microsoft Excel when opening an information map that uses a prompted stored process

When opening an information map that is associated with a prompted stored process in Microsoft Excel, the prompts do not display before the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office attempts to open the data. When this happens, you might see a table with default values or with no values, depending on how the prompts were used within the stored process in order to create the data.
To circumvent this issue, click the Filter & Sort button in the View SAS Data dialog box. In the Open Information Map dialog box, select your data items and then click OK. When you click OK, the prompts appear. Select the values that you want to use, and then click Run and then OK to execute the stored process and display your data.
